ANASTASIA TITOVA

Director of Training & Education

Anastasia is a California-based licensed professional clinical counselor and psychotherapist with 14 years of experience working with anxiety and depression reduction, stress management, and coping with trauma. She utilizes a trauma-informed holistic approach and has received comprehensive training in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Arts Therapy.

"I've been involved with First Aid of the Soul from its very beginning, firstly offering compassion and support groups for Ukrainian teachers and mental health providers, and then conducting a series of workshops focusing on burnout prevention and compassion fatigue. My role with FAS includes organizing trauma-informed educational series for our colleagues in Ukraine."

Anastasia believes that mental health well-being is as important as physical health and right now many people, impacted by the war, experience significant psychological trauma, grief and loss.

"I’ve decided to join First Aid of the Soul because it is intolerable to stay outside and witness so many losses and a humanitarian catastrophe [in Ukraine]. I believe anyone who can help now should step up and be active."
